Akef calls on authorities to unite and help victims of devastating floods in Turkey.


The chairman of the Muslim Brotherhood movement, Mr Mohamed Mahdy Akef sent a telegram offering condolences to the Turkish President Abdallah Gull and Prime Minister Recep Erdogan after days of torrential rains triggered flash floods in northwestern Turkey, sweeping cars into the sea and sending gushing water into homes and businesses, resulting in massive destruction and loss of lives and, homes.

Akef beseeched all international relief workers and authorities to unite and extend a helping hand in an attempt   to offer help to the dozens of families affected by the devastating floods.
