Habib: MB Program Still Under Preparation, Review

Dr. Mohamed Habib, the first deputy chairman of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB), said that the MB’s political program is still under preparation and review and it will be made public soon.
 
Habib pointed out that what Al-Masri Al-Yom Newspaper published today about the Muslim Brotherhood’s program is a very advanced version of the program to which many substantial amendments were introduced. These substantial amendments made it different in many ways from what Al-Masri Al-Yom Newspaper has reported.
 
Habib confirmed in a statement to Ikhwanweb that the process of preparing the Muslim Brotherhood program faces many stages, including preparation, review and showing the program to MB leaders and members to know their views and introduce more amendments.
 
Habib added that the group will show the final draft of the program to a number of political and intellectual figures and hold several debates around it before showing it to the public.
 
Asked about when the exact time of publicly launching the program, Habib said:” We are in the final stages of the program. However, we do not want to set a specific time for the release of the program so that it takes sufficient time to appropriately reflect the MB and to be in line with the requirements of the society and what people expect from the Muslim Brotherhood program”.
