MB Condolences for Victims of Sudan’s ‘Wad Al Noura’ Village Massacre

With profound sorrow and grief, the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) has received the news about the martyrdom of dozens of Sudanese civilians, including over 35 children, due to a horrific massacre in ‘Wad Al Noura’ village, Gezira state, in the vicinity of Khartoum – committed by the Rapid Support Deployment (RSD) militia in the context of its conflict with the Sudanese army, which has so far claimed the lives of more than 17,000 civilians and led to displacement of over 12 million people.

The Brotherhood also extends its sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims, praying to Allah Almighty to bestow His mercy and forgiveness on the deceased and accept them as martyrs, give the injured speedy recovery, and grant Sudan and its people security, unity and stability.

Allah Almighty says: ﴾… but give glad tidings to As-Sabirin (the patient ones). Who, when afflicted with calamity, say: "Truly! To Allah we belong and truly, to Him we shall return". ﴿ (Al-Baqarah: 155-156)
