MB Blesses Sinwar’s Selection as the New Hamas Leader
The Muslim Brotherhood (MB) appreciates the selection of Leader Yahya Sinwar as the new head of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas’s political bureau, succeeding Martyr Ismail Haniyeh.
The MB stresses that achievement of this entitlement under the continued Israeli aggression demonstrates the strength of the Hamas movement’s internal structure, and confirms the resistance movement’s institutionalism and reliance on Shura (consultation) in making its decisions.
The swift completion of this selection only a few days after the martyrdom of Hamas’s head confirms that the movement has not abandoned its principles of free selection, despite the intensified crisis and the ongoing war, which sends a message that the movement has prepared for every circumstance, and that the assassination of a leader – despite its gravity – does not affect the course of liberation.
The Brotherhood wishes the new Hamas Leader Yahiya Sinwar success and guidance in leading the movement at this stage of the Palestinian people's struggle, in the face of the barbaric Israeli aggression.
The MB also hails the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and calls on them to rally around their valiant leadership and resistance for the liberation of Palestine.
The Muslim Brotherhood also calls on the Islamic nation and its living forces to support the Palestinian people and their leadership in these difficult circumstances until Palestine and the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque are liberated – Allah Almighty willing.
