The ICC decision is a new condemnation of the Israeli entity that will further isolate it
In response to the International Criminal Court (ICC) decision of issuance of two international arrest warrants against Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the Israeli entity, and his dismissed Defence Minister Yoav Galant, on charges of committing war crimes and crimes against humanity during the ongoing genocidal war on the Gaza Strip – the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) has expressed its support for the ICC decision, viewing it as a confirmation by an international organization of Israel’s commission of war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
The Brotherhood calls on countries of the world to declare their full compliance with the enforcement of the ICC decision and to stress the independence of the court, which many countries have immediately done in the wake of its issuance, including European countries. In this regard, the MB believes that the ICC decision will contribute to further isolating the Israeli entity within the international community, taking into consideration that the countries that have ratified the Rome Statute -that established the ICC- exceed 120 countries across the world.
The MB also calls on the Arab governments and the member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to positively interact with the ICC decision, regardless of their participation in the court, as it is a (pure) legal decision based on the international law and the international humanitarian law, that also comes within the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court, and not a political act that could be subject to political blackmail, in addition to the fact that it is a victory for a just cause that has become the cause of all free people across the world.
