the Most Merciful Sacrifice and Redemption Feast All
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds; and blessings and peace be upon the Seal of the Prophets and the Master of Messengers, all his kinsfolk, companions, and followers till the Day of Judgment:
These blessed days, and the days that will follow them, the blessed Eid al-Adha days, are among the greatest days of Allah. And as the infallible Prophet Mohamad (peace and blessings be upon him) informed us, righteous deeds during these days are among the best of deeds.
The prevailing characteristics of these days are sacrifice and redemption, giving and granting, and offering the most precious and valuable things, only to please Allah Almighty, to support His religion, and to spread truth and justice throughout the world.
Prophet Abraham (peace be upon him) the father of prophets, and his noble family, set the most wonderful examples of giving, sacrifice, patience and resilience. He was exposed to severe trials in all aspects of life, yet he succeeded in all of them, so he received praise from Allah and granted leadership in religion. Allah Almighty said in Surat Al-Baqarah: ﴾…And [mention, O Mohamad], when Abraham was tried by his Lord with commands and he fulfilled them. [Allah] said, "Indeed, I will make you a leader for the people."…﴿ (Al-Baqarah: 126). And He said in Surat Al-Najm: ﴾ And [of] Abraham, who fulfilled [his obligations].﴿ (Al-Najm: 37). And He Almighty said in Surat Al-Nahl: ﴾ Indeed, Abraham was a [comprehensive] leader, devoutly obedient to Allah, inclining toward truth, and he was not of those who associate others with Allah.﴿ (Al-Nahl: 120).
Prophet Abraham was tested in the field of faith, as he confronted idol worshippers, planet worshippers, and worshippers of tyrannical rulers. He resisted them all, established proof against them, and triumphed over their plots and suspicions. Allah Almighty said in Surat Al-Anbiya: ﴾ Allah said, "O fire, be coolness and safety upon Abraham. And they intended for him harm, but We made them the greatest losers.﴿ (Al-Anbiya: 69-70). He also said in Surat Al-Anaam: ﴾ …, he (Abraham) said, "I like not those that disappear.". ﴿ (Al-Anaam: 76). Allah also said in Surat Al-Baqarah: ﴾ …So the disbeliever was overwhelmed [by astonishment], and Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.﴿ (Al-Baqarah: 258).
Abraham (peace be upon him) was afflicted with frequent migration and travel, between Iraq, the Levant, Egypt, and the Hijaz, where he used to call people to believe in Allah, raised the banner of monotheism, built the Holy Kaaba, and called all of humanity (to make the pilgrimage) to it. Allah Almighty said in Surat Al-Hajj: ﴾ And proclaim to mankind the Hajj (pilgrimage). They will come to you on foot and on every lean camel, they will come from every deep and distant (wide) mountain highway (to perform Hajj).﴿ (Al-Hajj: 27).
Prophet Abraham was also tested both in respect of his family and in his own person. He was deprived of having children until he reached extreme old age. Then, when he was blessed with a son (Ismael), he was ordered to take him and his mother (Hagar) to a remote, desolate place. He Almighty said in Surat Ibrahim: ﴾ …Our Lord, I have settled some of my descendants in an uncultivated valley near Your sacred House,...﴿ (Ibrahim: 37). Then, when that place (where he had taken his only son and his wife) attracted people and blessings were bestowed upon it, the waters of Zamzam gushed forth, and the boy (Ismail) reached the stage of striving with him, he (Abraham) was ordered to slaughter him himself – the utmost of trial – and so it was submission from the noble father, the patient mother, and the dutiful son, and surrender to Allah Almighty, Who said in Surat Al-Saffat: ﴾ And when he reached with him [the age of] exertion, he said, "O my son, indeed I have seen in a dream that I [must] sacrifice you, so see what you think." He said, "O my father, do as you are commanded. You will find me, if Allah wills, of the steadfast."﴿ (Al-Saffat: 102). Then came the great reward, the noble pleasure, and the widespread and comprehensive remembrance (for Abraham and his family). Allah Almighty said in Surat Al-Saffat: ﴾ And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice, And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: "Peace upon Abraham."﴿ (Al-Saffat: 107-109).
Faith is not just a word uttered by the tongue, but rather a strong belief in Allah Almighty, which motivates the honest person to give up the most precious things he owns in life – his life, his blood, and his money – seeking only to please Allah. Allah Almighty said in Surat Al-Tawbah: ﴾ Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties [in exchange] for that they will have Paradise.﴿ (Al-Tawbah: 111)
Throughout history, giving, granting, sacrificing, and redemption have been the motto of the prophets, the truthful people, the martyrs, and the righteous; as Allah Almighty said in Surat Al-Baqarah: ﴾ Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while such [trial] has not yet come to you as came to those who passed on before you? They were touched by poverty and hardship and were shaken until [even their] messenger and those who believed with him said, "When is the help of Allah?" Unquestionably, the help of Allah is near..﴿ (Al-Baqarah: 114); and as our Prophet Mohamad, the Seal of the Prophets (blessings and peace be upon him), said in his Hadith: "… Allah provides the most precious of goods, and indeed Allah's goods are but Paradise."
After a long time has passed since that distant past, nowadays emerges the epic of patience and resilience that is currently taking place in the Holy Land of Palestine and the environs of Jerusalem, where the terrible struggle is between the pure, immaculate truth and the criminal falsehood, defiled by every abomination and armed with every weapon of destruction and devastation:
- The righteous and pure people of Palestine, all men, women and children, defend their religion, their land and the heritage of their ancestors, and sacrifice their lives, blood and money for the sake of Allah.
- And the evil people who came from the diaspora of the whole world, carrying hatred and malice towards all of humanity, violating blood, honour and property, and destroying all aspects of life.
Still, blood is being shed, lives are being lost, children are dying, maimed, besieged, starved, burned and displaced.
Meanwhile, the governments of the "civilized" world (!) are watching and doing nothing for nearly two years of mass destruction, killing, and starvation. Some of them are even supplying the Zionist aggressors with all kinds of weapons, equipment, and money!!
They are urging them to quickly complete the despicable mission, which aims to expel the true owners of the land and replace them with foreign aggressors!
May Allah be with you, Palestine and all the righteous sons of Palestine. By Allah, your blood will not be shed in vain, and your lives will not be lost vainly.
The martyrs, from among you, have purchased Paradise - and won - and now they are “alive with their Lord, receiving provision, rejoicing in what Allah has bestowed upon them of His bounty”. Allah Almighty said in Surat Al-Imran:﴾ …Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision, rejoicing in what Allah has bestowed upon them of His bounty, and they receive good tidings about those [to be martyred] after them who have not yet joined them - that there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.﴿ (Al-Imran: 169-170).
As for those who remain alive, they have established proof for all of humanity, and they will live as a beacon and example for anyone who wants to live for the sake of truth, upholding and defending it, as long as night and day remain!
The world will not forget Ismail Haniyeh, Yahya Sinwar, Mohamed Deif, and their likes of great leaders, and thousands of pure and righteous martyrs. The world will never forget the martyr president Mohamed Morsi who defended Gaza until his last breath, and also his martyred brothers and the tens of thousands of men and women unjustly held behind bars.
The world will never forget the Al-Khansaa-likes of our era, the patient and steadfast Palestinian women, the last of whom was the legendary physician Alaa Al-Najjar, an example of sacrifice and redemption, giving and generosity, brilliance and excellence, purity and chastity.
You are following the path of the prophets, and Allah will grant you the precious and dear victory after you have paid the highest price. The Holy Land will soon be cleaned from the filth of the Zionist criminals, and the whole world will reject them, having witnessed their ugliness, cruelty, brutality, and disregard for all the sanctities of life.
Soon the banners of victory will be raised and the voices of "Allahu Akbar" will be heard in Jerusalem and the environs of Jerusalem. On that day, the greatest festival will be held, as Allah Almighty said in Surat Al-Rum: ﴾ …And on that Day, the believers (i.e. Muslims) will rejoice (at the victory given by Allah to the Romans against the Persians)With the victory of Allah, He supports whom He wills, and He is the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. (It is) a Promise of Allah (i.e. Allah will give victory to the Romans against the Persians), and Allah fails not in His Promise, but most of men know not. .﴿ (Al-Rum: 4-6)
Allah is the Greatest and to Allah all praises belong.
