MB: We call for public mobilization and urgent action to rescue Gaza
At this historic moment, while human blood is being shed on the land of resilient Gaza, and over two million people are besieged amid hunger, murder, and genocide, the Zionist entity stands exposed, with its crimes debunked before the entire world, defying all international laws and human values.
What is happening today in Gaza is not just a temporary humanitarian tragedy, but rather an extension of a systematic colonial assault led by the Zionist entity that is supported by the forces of global arrogance, with its ultimate goal of liquidating the Palestinian cause, exterminating or displacing the Palestinian people, imposing the occupation's hegemony over Jerusalem and its environs, and transformation of the stones of Palestine into a platform for igniting wars throughout the region.
The ongoing aggression against Lebanon, Yemen, Iran, and Syria is conclusive proof that this Zionist entity's project admits no boundaries and is not limited to geography, so as to ignite the fires of discord and chaos throughout the region and kills the spirit of resistance therein.
O sons of our Islamic nation,
Islamic jurisprudence has clearly stated that when an enemy attacks Muslim land jihad becomes an individual obligation, where no one who is able may refrain from participating, and no one could be exempt from this obligation until the aggression is defeated, and the injustice is redressed. Allah Almighty said in Surat Al-Baqarah ﴾ Fight in the way of Allah those who fight you but do not transgress. Indeed. Allah does not like transgressors. ﴿ (Al-Baqarah: 190).
This mandate did not stop at the people of Gaza alone but legally extended to their closest neighbors in the frontline states (Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan), and then to every individual in the rest of the nation, including the rulers and the ruled, each according to his ability, capacity, and position in the decision-making process, until the aggression is repelled.
We emphasize here that jihad is not an emotional feeling, or a slogan repeated in gatherings and pulpits, but rather a necessary act that begins with a sincere intention for Allah and translates into preparation, work, sacrifice, and support with money, words, and deeds, each according to his ability. Whoever is prevented from jihad, his (imposed) excuse is written on his scale, provided that he has the intention to practice jihad at all times, that he motivates and incites those around him, and that he does not accept humiliation, sitting back, and surrendering to the rotten reality. Allah Almighty said in Surat Al-Baqarah: ﴾ Indeed, those who conceal what We sent down of clear proofs and guidance after We made it clear for the people in the Scripture - those are cursed by Allah and cursed by those who curse. ﴿ (Al-Baqarah: 159)
To Leaders of Frontline States,
We affirm that this persistent aggression of the Zionist entity would not have occurred without this shameful betrayal and the tight closure of the crossings and borders. This is because Islamic law and human conscience make you the first to be addressed to support the weak and relieve the oppressed peoples. Today, you bear the greatest burden of this betrayal. Formal meetings, sterile statements of condemnation, and protocol images do not absolve you. You are responsible, Islamically and legally, before Allah Almighty, before your peoples, and before history. You are primarily concerned with providing relief to the people of Gaza and breaking the unjust siege imposed on them.
The continued closure of the crossings and the denial of relief, medicine, and food convoys from reaching the people of Gaza is not only a betrayal, but also an act of complicity in the crime, no matter how much the accomplices try to adorn it with flimsy pretexts. Today, we demand that you, without equivocation or prevarication, immediately open the crossings, lift all barriers to the flow of humanitarian aid, and support our people in Gaza with all possible political, military, economic, and media support. Otherwise, you are partners with the enemy, and Allah will not accept any compensation or justice from you until you end injustice and repel aggression.
Finally, the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) calls for a public mobilization and urgent action to rescue Gaza. It is now our collective duty not to leave the country's people to face the machine of starvation and death alone. Let public opinion mobilize and let us break the political idols that stand between us and the fulfillment of our moral, religious, and humanitarian duty.
Allah Almighty said: ﴾ …And Allah will surely support those who support Him. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might. ﴿ (Al-Hajj: 40). He also said: ﴾ …And Allah is predominant over His affair, but most of the people do not know. ﴿ (Yusuf: 21).
