Nothing will deter Netanyahu and his “Greater Israel” plan except the unity of Arab countries – peoples and government

The Muslim Brotherhood (MB) condemns the recent statements released by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding what he called "Greater Israel", which represent a declaration of immediate or delayed war against the entity's surroundings and the entire Arab nation, and reveal the aggressive expansionist intentions of this usurping entity.

These statements are not just idle talk, but rather an expression of a vision that has been carefully prepared and planned. In fact, they constitute a clear declaration (of war) that should be taken seriously and not underestimated. This confirms what the MB has repeatedly warned about that: the Zionist project would not stop at the borders of occupied Palestine but rather aims to control parts and countries surrounding Palestine.

The Brotherhood affirms that its position on the Zionist enemy is unwavering and unchangeable, and that it has paid – and continues to pay – the price for its resistance to this Zionist project since the occupation of Palestine and parts of Egypt and Syria until today. It views the Palestinian cause as the whole nation's cause and that abandoning it would risk the enemy seizing the rest of its lands, particularly those of the enemy’s neighbors.

In light of these dangerous statements, the MB demands the following:

• Sending an urgent message to the United Nations’ Security Council, viewing Netanyahu's statements as a direct threat to international peace and security, and demanding that the international community assume its responsibilities.
• Declaring the Zionist entity an enemy of Egypt and building the Egyptian army's military doctrine on this basis, as it constitutes the primary threat to Egyptian and Arab national security.
• Immediately halting all forms of normalization with the Zionist enemy, particularly security and trade cooperation, and considering such actions an act of treason.
• Declaring full support for the Palestinian resistance, as it constitutes a safety valve for the region in the face of the ambitions of the occupying entity.
• Being prepared to confront any Zionist military action that might attack Egyptian targets or territory, considering this a red line.

Finally, we call on writers, media professionals, and politicians to restore the significance of the term “Arab-Israeli conflict”, which has been obscured by the cognitive distortion of normalization efforts. We call on them to reject limitation of the conflict to a Palestinian-Israeli one, which isolates Palestine from its Arab surroundings and backbone, and to declare the Palestinian cause the cause of all Arabs.

We also call on the vital forces within our nation – peoples, governments, and organizations – to take these threats (of Netanyahu) seriously, to unite for confrontation of this cancerous danger, to protect the region from expansionist ambitions, and to support the resistance in all its forms until the land and holy sites are liberated.
