The Muslim Brotherhood (MB) has followed up on groundless reports about an alleged meeting between the group leaders and officials from a sister country.

In this regard, the Brotherhood would like to emphasize the following:

• First: The Muslim Brotherhood is an integral part of the Egyptian national fabric; and it places Egypt's interests and national security above all other considerations.

• Second: The Brotherhood’s regional policy is clear with regard to containing differences, respecting the sovereignty of states, and unifying the efforts and potentials of the region’s countries to confront its real enemy, which does not hide its expansionist ambitions, including seizing Egyptian and Arab lands.

• Third: The MB’s position is also evident and unequivocal regarding the need for unity among the Arab and Muslim nations in the face of threats to regional stability. We therefore call on all to avoid inciting division among the peoples of the region.
May Allah Almighty protect Egypt and its people, and all our Arab and Muslim nation
