The Zionist Attack on the Egyptian Relef Committee in the Gaza Strip Is attack on Egypt That Requires Retaliation

The Muslim Brotherhood (MB) condemns the crime committed by the Zionist occupation in the Gaza Strip, which led to the martyrdom of Mr. Mohamed Fawaz Al-Wahidi of the Egyptian Relief Committee in the Palestinian Strip, along with several Palestinian citizens, due to a treacherous raid in the Al-Sabra neighborhood, in a new violation of the ceasefire agreement, and a violation of international humanitarian law and a challenge to human feelings.

The MB asserts that the killing of relief and humanitarian workers reaffirms the occupation's insistence on a policy of systematic blockade against the people of the Gaza Strip and the obstruction of humanitarian aid—acts that constitute key elements of the crime of genocide.

The Brotherhood demands that Egyptian state take a firm stance against the occupation, given this attack on a member of the Egyptian Relief Committee in Gaza, considering Egypt’s role as a guarantor of the ceasefire agreement. At the very least, this crime demands a halt to trade relations, which are a lifeline for the entity, an end to security coordination with it, the permanent opening of the Rafah crossing for humanitarian aid, and the pursuit of political and legal action against the Zionist entity and its leaders at the international level. This crime must not go unpunished.

In conclusion, the Muslim Brotherhood extends its deepest condolences to the family of the martyr Mohamed Al-Wahidi and the families of other innocent victims. We pray to Allah Almighty to accept them among the martyrs and to grant patience and solace to their families.
