Haneyya: Gaza declared its victory when Israel failed to achieve its goals
GAZA, (PIC)-- Palestinian premier Ismail Haneyya stated Sunday that the Gaza Strip declared its victory when the Israeli occupation failed to achieve its stated objectives during its war and the Palestinian resistance succeeded in forcing its troops to retreat unconditionally.
In a press statement to the Jordanian Al-Ghad newspaper on the first anniversary of the Israeli war on Gaza, Haneyya said that the Palestinian people and their resistance in Gaza remained steadfast in the face of the brutal Israeli military aggression which spread massive destruction all over the Strip.
He added that Gaza, over 22 days, remained under constant Israeli air, land and sea attack, but it made victory and defied the conspirators with its fortitude.
The premier warned that any new war on Gaza will be a new defeat for Israel and will not be a picnic as its collaborators told it.
