MB Chair Congratulates Sheikh Ahmed on Presidency of Somalia

MB Chair Mohamed Mahdi Akef sent his congratulations to new Somali President Sheikh Sherif Sheikh Ahmed asking God to grant him success and bless his efforts in reforming the country"s conditions and restoring peace, security, and stability to the Somali land. 

Akef also looked forward to more prosperity in light of work towards entrenching true Islamic principles in Somalia as he valued Sheikh Ahmed"s keenness on the country"s unity and his wisdom in solving crises and problems.

In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful 

His Excellency President Sheikh Sherif Sheikh Ahmed, President of Somalia: 

May the Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon you, 

In my name, and on the behalf of the Muslim Brotherhood, I congratulate you and the honorable people of Somalia with sincere wishes, on the occasion of your being chosen as the country"s President after a difficult period during which it had been suffering instability. 

I ask God to grant you success and bless your efforts in reforming the country"s conditions and restoring peace, security, and stability to the country until it rises to a status that suits it which we hope for him and the Somali people always. 

We value your keenness on the country"s unity and wisdom in solving crises and problems, and look forward to more prosperity in light of the entrenchment of true Islamic principles.   

May God grant you success and guide your steps.
