Hishmat: Forcing Worshippers Out Of Mosque "Outrageous"

In his statements to Ikhwanweb, Brotherhood leading figure Dr. Mohamed Gamal Hishmat said that the security apparatus had crossed their red lines when they invaded worshippers" privacy in the mosque in Damanhur city where people had retreated to spiritual worship.

Questioning the type of Islam or morals the regime wants people to adopt, Hishmat added that "if they continue to chase religion out of Egypt Allah will drive them away from it." He also warned against the consequences of moral deterioration in Egypt describing it as being more dangerous than political and economic deterioration.

It is also worthy to mention that security forces of Al-Buhairah governorate had stormed a mosque in Damanhur city, named Qebaa", on Wednesday, September 24, evacuated and closed it, then prevented people from performing prayers there.

This was not the first incident of the kind as state security forces had previously broken into a mosque located in Oseem city of Giza besieging all the worshippers there and asking for their indentification. Even the children, despite their fear and terror, were asked to show up at the state security office with their parents. Then the mosque was ordered to be evacuated and closed.
