Morsi Demands British Kidnapped Journalist Alan Johnston Immediately Released

MB leader Mohamed Morsi called on again kidnappers of the BBC journalist Alan Johnston to immediately release him.

Dr. Mohamed Morsi, the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) Executive Bureau member, denounced in a statement to Ikhwanweb, kidnapping British journalist Alan Johnston who works in the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), by gunmen while doing his work in Gaza Strip.

Pointing a finger of accusation at the Israeli occupation forces, Morsi said that this incident aims primarily at creating confusion and panic among foreigners living in Gaza Strip so as not to show the real image of suffering that the Palestinian people are undergoing under fire of the occupation forces, and to distort the image of Palestinian Hamas-led government.

"These actions can never be committed by the Palestinian people; they aim actually at defaming the Palestinian people struggle for liberation" added Morsi.

"The Muslim Brotherhood group demands the kidnappers to immediately and unconditionally release journalist Alan Johnston without hurting him" said the MB leader.

Morsi confirmed that media personalities must be respected and helped because they are helping to show the suffering of the Palestinian people under the hideous Israeli occupation.
