MB Media Spokesperson  Calls for Supporting Palestine at the Muslim Youth Conference in Pakistan

Sohaib Abdel Maqsoud, the Muslim Brotherhood Higher Committee member and media spokesperson participated in the activities of the Islami Jamiat Talaba, Pakistan, as he attended the International Youth Conference (29, 30 December) in Karachi, titled “Muslim Youth, Ummah's Hope”. 

The conferees focused on the urgent need for coordination of the efforts of the Ummah (nation) and Islamic movements across the world to support the central objectives. They stressed the significance of the existence of a common strategic vision to restore the Ummah’s status and address regional and international challenges. 

They added that despite the importance of intra-country issues, they should not distract us from the fact that we are one nation. They also emphasized that Operation Al-Aqsa Flood and the success case that has been presented by the valiant resistance in Gaza represents an opportunity to restore the concept of one body.

The MB spokesperson’s visit to Pakistan also included a number of meetings and seminars with the leaders of the Jamaat-e-Islami in Pakistan, most notably Dr Siraj-ul-Haq, the Jamaat Emir (Chief) and Dr Asif Luqman Qazi, the director of its foreign affairs, at the Jamaat-e-Islami headquarters in Lahore, where a host of practical steps to serve Islam and Muslims everywhere were discussed, particularly supporting our people in Palestine and the Gaza Strip.
