Message to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
His Eminence Mr. Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran,
May Allah’s peace, blessings, and mercy be upon you
On behalf of myself and the Muslim Brotherhood (MB), I would like to emphasize our full support for the Islamic Republic of Iran in the face of the brutal “Israeli” aggression. I also would like to extend my sincere condolences for all the martyrs, including leaders, scholars, and innocent Iranian citizens.
The “Israeli” aggression against Iran is a new phase of aggression against Palestine, where revenge motives drive the occupation government, due to the support provided by the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Palestinian resistance, in addition to other strategic motives highlighted in the occupation entity’s quest to impose its hegemony over the region by weakening the centres of power therein; taking advantage of the broad support provided to it by the United States of America and other Western countries that were appalled by the defeat suffered by the “Israeli” occupation on 7 October 2023 and then gave Netanyahu's extremist government a free hand to restore the lost security, regardless of the level of brutality required to achieve this.

We are one nation, in the religious, spiritual, civilizational (cultural), and geopolitical senses alike. The fires of the “Israeli” occupation and its supporters do not differentiate between our ethnicities or sects. While the occupation is striving diligently to eliminate the valiant Palestinian resistance, yet it realizes that this malicious goal is impossible unless its aggression expands to include the incubator of resistance, whether this incubator is a central state like the Islamic Republic of Iran, or the Islamic movement, with the Muslim Brotherhood at its heart.
Therefore, the MB has no doubt that our enemy is one and the same: the Zionist entity. Our primary weapon, to which we must adhere, is the unity of the Islamic nation, working to unite the will of its living and active forces and unify their efforts within a comprehensive strategic vision that will steer the nation toward its true enemy, overcoming the effects and mistakes of past years, which undermined the nation's unity and diverted part of its efforts into internal conflicts, the primary beneficiaries of which have always been the nation's enemies. In fact, the precious sacrifices being offered by the (Islamic) nation today in Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen, and Iran place a great responsibility on us, urging us to exert every effort for achievement of unity, rejection of differences, and integration of our efforts.

We believe that the Islamic nation is a reality, not an illusion. It is embodied in the final heavenly message (of Prophet Mohamad, peace be upon him), the eternal divine revelation (of the holy Quran), and the brilliant civilization built by Muslim peoples whose hearts and goals have been united by the message and the divine revelation. Today, the Muslim Brotherhood is still committed to the call of Imam Hassan El-Banna, as it has defined our approach towards all Islamic bodies and organizations, saying:
"We strive to bring together viewpoints and reconcile different ideas in a way that makes truth prevail, in the shadow of cooperation and love. No jurisprudential opinion or sectarian disagreement can separate us from them, for Allah’s religion is easy, and whoever makes the religion a rigour, it will overpower him… We believe that the day will come when names, titles, formal differences, and theoretical barriers will disappear, and will be replaced by a practical unity that unites the ranks of the Mohamadan (Muslim) battalion, where there will be only Muslim brothers, working for the religion, and fighting in the way of Allah Almighty.”: ﴾ And whoever is an ally of Allah and His Messenger and those who have believed - indeed, the party of Allah - they will be the predominant.﴿ (Al-Maidah: 56)”
