Pharmacists Syndicate hold the Egyptian pharmaceutical company responsible for the smuggling of "Tamiflu"
Allegations by the Pharmacists Syndicate's spokesman Dr Magdy Hassan were met by shock when during a conference on Sunday October 4, he revealed that the drug "Tamiflu" which is used to cure Swine Flu was being smuggled to pharmacists through illegal and illegitimate channels. The Syndicate held the Egyptian pharmaceutical company responsible claiming that it was the only company which had access to the drug.
The statement emphasized that Dr Ahmed Ramy from the Syndicate demanded that the Egyptian pharmaceuticalcompany must be held accountable for the smuggling since the only possibility for the drugs to be smuggled was through the warehouses or from abroad.
During the conference it was stated that the "Nile Dug Company" was the only company which manufactured the drug and the illegal smuggling of it to numbered pharmacies would only result in chaos and havoc endangering the lives of citizens since it was the only drug which could cure both Swine and Bird Flu.
