A statement from the members of the General Shura Council of the Muslim Brotherhood abroad
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Beneficent. Praise be to Allah. Prayers and peace be upon our Prophet, Muhammad, his family and all of his companions.
Members of the General Shura Council of the Muslim Brotherhood abroad gathered today, Wednesday, Rabi’ al-Awwal 7, 1443 AH, October 13, 2021, headed by the Deputy leader and the acting General Guide of the Muslim Brotherhood. The following decisions were issued:
1- Renew the pledge of allegiance to Allah, then to the Muslim Brotherhood then to the General Guide, and then the deputy leader and the acting General Guide.
2- The dismissal of the former media spokesperson for the Muslim Brotherhood, Mr. Talaat Fahmy.
3- Everything that was issued and published on the ''Ikhwan online'' website and ''Watan'' TV channel as well as the statement of the former media spokesperson, are against the truth and in violation of the regulations and without the permission of the leadership of the legitimate Muslim Brotherhood.
4- The committee formed to investigate with the six brothers in the current events will continue its work. (with the addition of the new violations of using the Muslim brotherhood’s institutions to the list of the accusations).
5- Assign the commission to prepare a message for the Muslim Brotherhood's members that dispels lies and clarifies the facts, ethics and morals on which the Muslim Brotherhood has gathered around the world.
6- The General Shura Council of the Muslim Brotherhood abroad is in permanent session to follow up on developments, clarify positions and take the necessary decisions.
[And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided. And remember the favor of Allah upon you – when you were enemies and He brought your hearts together and you became, by His favor, brothers. And you were on the edge of a pit of the Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses that you may be guided] - (3:103)
