The Days of Allah and the Tidings of Victory
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah; and blessings and peace be upon His Messenger, his kinsfolk, companions, and followers:
Now to the topic:
Blessed days have already come upon us, days that are the best days of a year, as our infallible Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than on these days," referring to the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah. They (his companions) said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, not even Jihad in the cause of Allah?’ He said: ‘Not even Jihad in the cause of Allah, except that of a man who goes out (to Jihad) with his self and his property but returns with none of them’."
What if all those good deeds – of Hajj, Umrah, prayers, night vigil prayers, charity, rituals, dhikr (remembrance of Allah), supplication, talbiyah (a devotional prayer uttered by pilgrims), and takbir (recitation of ‘Allahu Akbar’, a call to glorify Allah) – were combined with true jihad and fighting against Allah’s enemies in a blessed spot in the surroundings of Baytul Maqdis (Jerusalem), where the Mujahideen went out (for jihad) with themselves, as well as their money, belongings, homes, and families – in defense of their lands and their sanctities, but they did not return with any of it. Rather, the souls of thousands of them rose to heavens as pure and righteous martyrs who fulfilled their pledge to Allah and were true to what they had promised Him.
There they are at the blessed vanguard (who will never be harmed by those who oppose them or let them down), and behind them there are Muslim peoples who are returning to the teachings of their religion and praying to Allah Almighty to make this blessed group stay steadfast and firm, shaking off the dust of oppression and humiliation off them, and mobilizing their forces to support the mujahideen.
One of the blessings of this sincere jihad in these blessed days is that it led to exposing falsehood and deception to all humanity, as the reality of the aggressor Zionists has become clear, as the worst type of human beings that has appeared these days. They (Zionists) harbor nothing for humanity but evil, grudges, fanaticism, hatred, as well as thirst for blood, loss of life, and destruction of all aspects of life, even shelters allocated for the displaced people.
Those blessed days have come upon us –peoples of the Muslim nation– while we are in dire need of their blessings, to help us get closer to Allah Almighty (the source of true strength), so that He may bestow His mercies and overflow His blessings upon us, and provide our heroic mujahideen with support from Him: to make their foothold firm and guide their shots to hit their targets accurately, and help them free the Holy Land from the filth of Allah’s enemies.
The more we are sincere in doing good deeds, both in word and in deed, and exerting every possible effort, the closer the hour of victory approaches. In fact, the signs of victory have become apparent, as we witness amazing steadfastness with the taste of miracles from a patient group and a struggling and steadfast people.
On behalf of the entire nation, they are fighting to liberate our land and our sanctities, against hordes of a capable enemy supported by Western governments. However, ﴾[Their] assembly will be defeated, and they will turn their backs [in retreat] But the Hour is their appointment [for due punishment], and the Hour is more disastrous and more bitter.﴿ (Al-Qamar: 45-46)
I call upon Muslim rulers -in particular- to rise to the level of events, and to return to Allah Almighty and place their allegiance to Him in the first place, and then to their Muslim peoples, for they entail much goodness. Allah Almighty said: ﴾O you who have believed, do not take as intimates those other than yourselves, for they will not spare you [any] ruin. They wish you would have hardship. Hatred has already appeared from their mouths, and what their breasts conceal is greater. We have certainly made clear to you the signs, if you will use reason. ﴿ (Al-Imran: 118).
Operation Al-Aqsa Flood has given us an opportunity to review our attitudes towards our nation, and towards its enemies – an opportunity to return to Allah, turn to Him, seek His help, and unite the nation under the banner of true Islam. If they (the rulers) do that, no one will defeat them. Allah Almighty said: ﴾O you who have believed, if you support (in the cause of) Allah, He will support you and make your foothold firm. ﴿ (Mohamed: 7).
Let us all respond to Allah’s call - the call to life - as individuals and groups, peoples and governments, as He Almighty says: ﴾O you who have believed, respond to Allah and to the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life. And know that Allah intervenes between a man and his heart and that to Him you will be gathered.﴿ (Al-Anfal: 24).
May Allah accept all acts of obedience, both from us and from you, and open the doors of good deeds to all of us and grant us and you the blessings of these blessed days, and may He make these days come back to you while you are in the best conditions.
