The Peoples' Will Is Irresistible And Ultimately Prevails No Matter How Long It Takes
Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar. La Ilaha Illa Allah. Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Wa lillahil Hamd. (Allah is the Greatest (3 times); There is no god but Allah. Allah is the Greatest (2 times) and to Allah all praises belong.)
The Muslim Brotherhood (MB) congratulates the Syrian people on the victory that has been achieved on the path to the liberation of Syria, and the collapse of the bloody terrorist regime of Bashar Al-Assad, which made the Syrian people suffer the woes of oppression, torture and tyranny for decades.
The MB congratulates, in particular, the heroes of the liberation battle and wishes them continued success until their country is completely cleansed of the regime and its effects. In fact, the liberation battle has only begun, but it has not ended yet.
The downfall of Bashar Al-Assad does not necessarily mean the fall of the regime. True victory will come on the day the regime is uprooted, its followers are tracked down and chased, and all sources of danger are eliminated.
Rather, the real victory will be on the day when the Syrian people regain their status and protect their revolution from being hijacked and when they build their strong state on the foundation of justice, freedom and democracy.
Therefore, this requires unity of fronts and the people’s rallying around the resistance and their integration into the battle of liberation to overcome obstacles and face challenges.
The Brotherhood calls on regional and international powers to support the Syrian people’s revolution and unity. The MB also emphasizes that the Arab regimes that had bet on the despot and tyrant Bashar al-Assad and embraced him have lost their bet, and that working with the people is more significant than clashing with their will and confiscation of their freedom, as loyalty is only to the homelands.
The scenes of liberation of detainees in Syria highlight similarity of the manifestations of tyranny and oppression there with (those in) many of our Arab countries. Therefore, the ruling regimes must realize the historical moment, side with the demands of their peoples, end all manifestations of oppression and tyranny, and establish a comprehensive reconciliation that should start with the liberation of detainees and the real opening of the public sphere without discrimination or exclusion among the sons of the same nation.
In fact, the will of the people is irresistible, and it will prevail no matter how long it takes.
Our peoples yearn for justice, freedom and security; and they look forward to a better life in their homelands. So, it is better to establish the relationship between the ruler and the ruled based on consent, freedom of choice, and equality in rights and duties – for belief in the right to freedom and suffering from life under tyranny is likely to lead to the extraction of rights by force.
﴾ … And there is no victory except from Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.﴿ (Al-Imran: 126)
Allahu Akbar, Wa lillahil Hamd (Allah is the Greatest and to Allah all praises belong).
