The blockade-breaking vessel "Madleen" confirms that the world’s living conscience is with Palestine

The Muslim Brotherhood (MB) highly appreciates the blessed efforts of the Freedom Flotilla Coalition (FFC), in cooperation with the Swedish ‘Ship to Gaza’ campaign and the Mayday Rescue Ship Foundation – in launching freedom vessels to break the siege imposed on the Palestinian Gaza Strip. 

The MB views these humanitarian movements as an expression of what is deeply rooted in the conscience of the world’s peoples towards Gaza and the Palestinian cause, and that – through their symbolic attempt – they shed light on the humanitarian tragedy of more than two million people besieged in the Strip.

In this regard, the Brotherhood hails the activists and freedom fighters onboard the "Madleen" vessel on its bold journey from Europe to the Gaza Strip, carrying twelve human rights activists of various nationalities who represent the living part of the global conscience.

The MB affirms its full support for this noble effort, viewing it as a vivid expression of Palestine's continued presence at the heart of the world's free people. 

Meanwhile, the Brotherhood condemns the blockade imposed on the Gaza Strip, which constitutes an ongoing crime against humanity perpetrated under international cover and with regional complicity.

While we hold the Zionist occupation fully responsible for the safety of the Madleen ship and its passengers, we call on the United Nations and the free nations of the world to take urgent action to protect this peaceful movement, completely end the unjust blockade, and recognize the humanitarian tragedy and famine caused by the genocide crime perpetrated by the occupation government.

May Allah Almighty protect Gaza and its people and keep Palestine free, dignified and independent.
