MB: We condemn the US aggression against Iran and warn against dragging the whole region into a comprehensive conflict
The Muslim Brotherhood (MB) condemns the military aggression launched by the United States of America (USA) against the territories of the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI), which constitutes a flagrant violation of international law and the Charter of the United Nations, and a blatant attack against a sovereign state and member of the international organization.
In fact, this American escalation is inseparable from the US administration's open support for the ongoing Zionist aggression against the Palestinian people, which is part of recurrent attempts to reshape the region by force of arms and eliminate the forces of resistance and resilience there.
Therefore, the Muslim Brotherhood here stresses that the act of targeting Iran stems from the US administration's support for the Zionist entity and serves its expansionist project in the region, which makes this aggression a clear and direct threat to the security and stability of the region's peoples. The Brotherhood also warns against the consequences of continuing this aggression and igniting regional conflicts with dire consequences.
In this regard, the MB calls on Arab and Islamic peoples and governments, all countries of the world, and organizations of the international community to condemn this aggression and stand against such arrogant policies that flout international law.
The Muslim Brotherhood also calls on Arab and Islamic countries to use all possible means to achieve Arab and Islamic unity and to show full solidarity in the face of the attempts to impose hegemony over countries of the region, weaken their potentials, and sow chaos therein. Allah Almighty says in Surat Al-Muminun: ﴾And indeed this, your religion, is one religion, and I am your Lord, so fear Me.﴿ (Al-Muminun: 52); and He also says in Surat Al-Anfal ﴾ And those who disbelieved are allies of one another. If you do not do so, there will be fitnah on earth and great corruption.﴿ (Al-Anfal: 73)
