MB: We Support Yemen’s Decision and Saudi Arabia’s Stance in Confrontation of UAE Separatist Approach

The Muslim Brotherhood (MB) would like to confirm its unwavering commitment to the unity and sovereignty of Arab states, and the danger of separatist tendencies that undermine the overall regional stability.

In this regard, the MB affirms its full support for the territorial integrity, security and stability of Yemen, and endorses the decision of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) to defend the unity of the country.

The Brotherhood also commends the decisive stance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in preventing the fueling of conflict in Yemen and defending its territorial integrity, especially as Yemen’s unity and stability are a priority for the Kingdom’s national security on its southern borders.

Meanwhile, the Muslim Brotherhood categorically rejects the reckless approach adopted by the United Arab Emirates, which is based on fueling separatist tendencies in the region and arming parties outside the framework of state legitimacy – the same role it is playing in Libya, Sudan, and Somalia, and is now targeting Yemen. All these interventions also threaten Egyptian national security in its strategic neighborhood, particularly in Bab el-Mandeb and the Red Sea, in a suspicious convergence with Israel's expansionist agenda.

The MB stresses that fueling conflicts is contrary to the values ​​of Islam, which urges unity and cooperation, and is also contrary to international law. Moreover, itcontradicts the will and interests of the free Arab peoples, undermines the chances of stability in the region, and serves only the enemies of the Arab nation.Therefore, it calls upon the League of Arab States, the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) and the United Nations (UN) to adopt deterrent decisions against these separatist tendencies in accordance with international law.
