Khudari asks all Palestinian parties to respond favorably to Egyptian invitation

MP Jamal Al-Khudari, who is the chairman of the popular anti-siege committee, on Saturday called on the Palestinian factions, especially Fatah and Hamas, to respond favorably to the Egyptian president"s call for dialogue in Cairo the soonest.

Khudari, in a press release, welcomed Mubarak"s invitation for dialogue, describing it as a real opportunity to re-arrange the Palestinian home.

All Palestinian parties should bypass internal differences for the sake of forming a strong, united internal front in face of Zionist aggressions and attempts to widen inter-Palestinian discord, the MP elaborated.

Khudari, meanwhile, highlighted the importance of retaining the Egyptian-Gaza borders open though on official and legal basis, turning the Rafah terminal into a sole Egyptian-Palestinian crossing.

He also proposed turning it into a commercial crossing that would be used in exporting and importing goods.
