A statement regarding the news circulating about the convening of the Egyptian General Shura Council and the issuance of decisions

With regards to the statements circulated on the social media platforms about the convening of the Egyptian General Shura Council and the issuance of decisions, The Muslim Brotherhood denies the news of the meeting and the issuance of any decisions by the Shura Council.

The Muslim Brotherhood also confirms that the "Ikhwan Online" website does not currently represent the Muslim Brotherhood and does not take into account what is issued through it. Anyone who participated in creating confusion with untrue allegations will be investigated.

Muslim Brotherhood confirms that its official information sources and official communication channels are available through the official website ''Ikhwan.site''.

Muslim Brotherhood also confirms that there is no meeting of General Shura by regulation except by the invitation and presidency of the Deputy Leader and the acting General Guide.
