Dr. Abdel-Haq Congratulates the Muslim Nation on the Advent of Eid Al-Fitr

In the name of Allah; praise be to Him; and blessings and peace be upon His Messenger, his kinsfolk, companions, and followers:

On the occasion of the blessed Eid Al-Fitr, it gives me great pleasure to extend the warmest congratulations, on my own behalf and on behalf of the Muslim Brotherhood, to all the peoples of the Muslim nation, its leaders, scholars and thinkers; with my most sincere prayers to Allah to bring the happy Eid back to us all again and again, along with goodness, prosperity, and blessings; and for justice, security and peace to prevail throughout the whole world, and to fill the homes of Muslims everywhere with joy and pleasure

I especially congratulate the honourable Egyptian people; and I pray to Allah Almighty to bring these feasts back to Egypt many times and for many years while it enjoys freedom, security and prosperity, after recovering from all that befell it, and to change the Egyptian People’s condition to a much happier one.

I also congratulate the heroic people of Palestine on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, as well as the afflicted people of Sudan, the peoples of Syria, Yemen, Libya, Turkestan, and all the vulnerable people around the world.

I also extend my most heartfelt congratulations on the advent of the blessed Eid Al-Fitr to our brothers on the path, the advocates of the right from the Muslim Brotherhood, both brothers and sisters, in particular the detainees and their families individually, with my sincere prayers to Allah Almighty that the next Eid will come after being brought together with their families; and fulfil our and their aspirations.

I also particularly extend my congratulations to my sons, the Dawah youth, with my most sincere prayers that Allah make them an asset to Islam, as they are the potential of the present and the hope of the future, the creative energy, the flowing blood, and the abundant wealth that renews the youth of the Dawah and restores its vitality and position.

Dear brothers and sisters, despite the plights and tragedies that  we and our nation are passing through, please make the Eid an occasion for joy and happiness, an opportunity for pardon and forgiveness, and a season for closeness to one another. So, perform the Eid prayer, shake hands with your brothers, uphold ties of your kinship, bring happiness to your children, and generously give to your poor; for joy, boosting kinship ties and giving are among the acts of worship during the Eid days.

To partners of the path and action for Islam and the homelands in Egypt and the whole Muslim world, I say: Happy New Year and Happy Eid. We also pray to Allah Almighty to make our tomorrow better than our yesterday, and to unite our ranks, we and our nation, under the banner of the Qur’an and the Sunnah of Prophet Mohamed, peace and blessings be upon him.

Allah Is the Greatest, and Praise Be to Allah
