MB: We support the launch of the Hague Group, seeking to end “Israeli” occupation; and call on Islamic countries to join it
The Muslim Brotherhood (MB) hails the launch of the Hague Group, comprising a host of countries supporting the Palestinian cause. The Hague Group aims to end the Zionist occupation of the Palestinian territories, support the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination and the establishment of their independent state, hold Zionist war criminals accountable before international courts, and prevent the flow of weapons and military equipment to the occupying entity.
Such step is a significant move at the international level to isolate this racist and fascist “Israeli” entity and raise the cost of its occupation (of the Palestinian territories), as a significant track to ending the occupation, as had happened in the case of the apartheid regime in South Africa. The Brotherhood also stresses that achievement of international justice against the occupation leaders is imperative to deter them and stop their repeated crimes against the Palestinian people.
In this regard, the MB calls on Arab and Islamic countries to join this new group (Hague Group) and stand as one to force the Zionist occupier to respect international law, in support of the Palestinian people’s struggle to liberate their land and restore their usurped rights, and to restore respect for international law and human rights that the occupation has significantly violated in the ongoing genocidal war against the Palestinians.
The Brotherhood affirms that the peoples and governments of the Islamic nation are now required to take practical steps to support these international efforts aimed at exposing the Zionist occupation and holding it accountable, and to contribute to everything that would enhance the resilience of the Palestinian people and bring the day of victory and liberation closer, Allah willing.
Allah is the Greatest and to Allah all praises belong.
