MB: We condemn the Israeli, American military aggression against Iran

﴾ …Every time they kindled the fire of war [against you], Allah extinguished it. ﴿  (Al-Maidah: 64)

The Muslim Brotherhood (MB) condemns the Israeli, American military aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, which targeted a sovereign state, without any legal or moral justification, and it mourns the victims who have passed away as a result of this brutal aggression.

The planned attack that started today against Tehran and Iranian cities is not only an illegitimate attempt to change its ruling regime, but it seeks to subjugate the whole region to meet aspirations for Israeli regional hegemony, which is a far-fetched mirage that will not be achieved for the occupation.

On the other hand, targeting Arab capitals (by Iran) is not part of the battle, but rather a deviation from the right compass, in which the risks of expanding the regional war are increasing.

In this regard, it is incumbent upon the leaders of Arab and Islamic countries to value the current moment and the challenges facing their people, and to work towards strategic independence both militarily and economically, and to develop cooperation and coordination in facing the occupation project’s plans based on expansion and undermining the security and stability of the region and threatening the sovereignty and unity of its countries.

Therefore, the Muslim Brotherhood urges all parties, leaders of the region and the free world to quickly stop the war immediately.

The MB also affirms its commitment to the safety of the lands, interests and peoples of all countries in the region.
