MB: We Condemn Calls to Storm Al-Aqsa Mosque, and Demand Countering Attempts to Desecrate It and Change Its identity

The Muslim Brotherhood (MB) condemns the dangerous escalation led by the alleged ‘Temple’ groups, supported by the Zionist occupation government, through calls to carry out the largest storming of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque tomorrow, Thursday, 23 July 2026, in connection with an alleged occasion; and it condemns all attempts to impose new Judaization facts that affect its Islamic identity and historical and legal status.

These attacks represent a blatant aggression against the Islamic nation’s holy sites, a provocation of the feelings of over two billion Muslims, a flagrant violation of international law and freedom of worship; and they also portend serious consequences for which the occupation bears full responsibility.

The MB calls upon the international community, the United Nations, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), and the League of Arab States (LAS) to assume their legal and moral responsibilities and take urgent and effective measures to stop these violations, protect the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and hold the occupation accountable for its ongoing crimes against Jerusalem and its holy sites.

The Muslim Brotherhood also calls upon the Arab and Islamic nation and the free people of the world to support Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque by all legitimate means, and to consider it an opportunity to support the steadfastness of ‘Mourabitoun’, those stationed at Al-Aqsa Mosque and those stationed everywhere on the land of Palestine, so as to thwart all plans of Judaization and displacement. Allah Almighty says in Surat Al-Isra: ﴾Exalted is He who took His Servant by night from al-Masjid al-Haram to al-Masjid al-Aqsa, whose surroundings We have blessed,... ﴿ (Al-Isra: 1)
