Every year, the third of July brings to our memory the military coup against the popular will in 2013. This bloody coup overthrew the first free democratic experience in Egypt, and abused Egypt's bright face, only two and a half years after the outbreak of the inspiring January revolution. Today, we remember the coup after eleven years of failure to run the state or achieve the people’s hopes; with the ruling regime having exhausted all opportunities to survive.

Today marks the fifth anniversary of the ascension (demise) of Egypt’s late martyr President Mohamed Morsi, whose soul ascended to Heaven on 17 June 2019 – May Allah Almighty have mercy on him and accept him among the righteous. We remember him today –though he was never absent from our minds– through recalling glimpses of his scattered feats and fragrant biography, the sincerity of which was confirmed by the course of events, over 10 years following his forced removal from office and imprisonment, something which reveals his personality, thought and vision, as well as the reality and nature of the conflict.

We believe that the rules of Islam and its teaching is inclusive of organizing people’s affair in life and after life, Islam is Aqedah and practice, a homeland, a citizenship, a religion, a state, a spiritual practice, an effort, a Mus-haf and a sword.
Build the Islamic nation in your hearts; it would become a reality on your land.
Knights raising the righteous flags, this is what the Ummah and the world need today.
My advice to you it to hold on to this calling, hold on to it to the last drop of your blood, the last beat of your heart, hold on to the promise to Allah, hold on to his rope, their no salvage or safety except by returning to Allah his mighty.
We work along with every building and raising effort that would regain Egypt its esteemed position amongst Arab and Islamic nations, especially its leadership.
The brotherhood shouldn’t be disturbed by such troubles, yet consider it an honor, time is not measured by the lives of individuals, but with the lives of calls and nations, and this is not much in achieving the bigger goal.
We run our affairs in the shurra spirit, disagreement is natural, and the door is open to every opinion. The brotherhood can’t accept among its leader an attention seeker.
Beloved, we must appreciate the message we carry, this holy religion, and I am confident that if the whole world is gathered to belittle the holders of this Aqedah, they couldn’t.
The Islamic ummah is living a stage where unity is needed for it to reach its goal, regain its sovereignty and its respect amongst other nations. We were ordered by Allah to unit when he said: “And hold fast, all of you together, to the Rope of Allah (i.e. this Quran), and be not divided among yourselves”
